Eventually he wanted more power and considered turbocharging the factory 1.9 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BMW_M44\">M44B19<\/a> inline-four. With that in mind, Donatas recommended a 5.0 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mercedes-Benz_M113_engine\">Mercedes M113<\/a> V8. \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Robby and Donatas swapped the V8 using custom engine mounts. Since they positioned the engine further back in the engine bay, they needed to flip the intake manifold around 180 degrees. They had to move the steering shaft 5 cm (2 inches), remove the large factory brake booster, and fabricate custom exhaust manfiolds. The motor runs on the factory ECU and wiring harness. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineswapdepot.com\/?attachment_id=102349\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-102349\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\"
