A lot of the drag racing in Europe takes place on unprepped surfaces such as old runways so they usually tend to be AWD. For this project they have completely gutted the Evo and installed a custom chassis and full roll cage. The 4G63T has been replaced with a LSx V8 with a Garrett GTX42 turbocharger. The AWD system consists of a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, modified GMC Syclone\/Typhoon transfer case (BorgWarner 1372 or 4472) and modified GM diffs in front and rear.<\/p>\n<p><a
