It is based on a Dodge troop transporter and features a Power Wagon cab and custom built 8-foot bed. The original 96 horsepower flat-head inline-six has been replaced by a 3.9 L Cummins 4BT turbo diesel inline-four. The drivetrain consists of a ZF6 five-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. The transfer case sends torque to three differentials all with 4.11 gears. Under normal road driving only the rear two axles are powered and the 4BT gave an impressive 25 mpg average over a 3,000 mile trip.<\/p>\n<p><a
