The owner explains he removed the 4.3 L M113 E43 V8 and replaced it with a 5.4 L M113 V8 from a CLK55 AMG. He also explained it was pretty much a bolt-in swap since the engine still runs off the factory 4.3 L ECU. The new engine bumped the power output to 354 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. The owner backed the engine with a five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission from a 1999 Mercedes E55. Besides the engine swap the only other upgraded is a rebuilt front suspension.
