Casey removed the factory inline-six and drivetrain for a electric motor and battery pack from a Tesla Model S. In the back of the truck is a Tesla drive unit directed by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ev-controls.com\">EV Controls<\/a> controller. The motor is powered by a 85 kWh battery pack managed by an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orionbms.com\/products\/orion-bms-standard\/\">Orion BMS2<\/a>. Casey estimates the electric conversion added about 400-500 pounds.
