The project started with Fatman Fabrication cutting out the floorboards so they could install one of their custom square-tube chassis. On top of that a Duttweiler Performance 402 ci all-aluminum small-block V8 was installed. They engine features a Brodix small-block, Brodix spread-port heads, forged crank and rods, CP pistons, 96 lb\/hr injectors, and controlled by a BigStuff3 EFI ECU. The engine by itself produces 954 horsepower and 878 lb-ft of torque but it makes 1,300 horsepower when the two Precision turbochargers behind the seats are used. Behind the engine sits a GM TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and narrowed Ford 9&#8243; rear end with a Detroit Truetrac with 2.50 gears.
