With the factory motor seized, the team decided to swap turbocharged 2.0 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/GM_Ecotec_engine#LTG\">LTG inline-four<\/a> (Gen III Ecotec) from a 2018 Malibu. This motor produces 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a Tremec TR3160 six-speed manual transmission and independent 9-inch rear end. Complete Concepts upgraded the handling with a Heidts front subframe and Pro G independent rear suspension. The Firebird features selectable electric power steering rack and Wilwood disc brakes in front and inboard disc brakes in back. It rolls on Rocket Racing Attack 18-inch wheels with 275\/35 Nitto NT555 G2 tires.
