The car is still powered by a V8 albeit several decades newer. In the engine bay sits a 4.0 L 1UZ-FE V8 and Toyota A-series automatic transmission. A driveshaft sends power to a Dana 44 rear end from a Jeep. The classic sedan stops thanks to BMW E32 calipers and rotors powered by an Audi A8 D3 master cylinder. Steering is handled by a Peugeot 407 rack and pinion.
