Last year Jason Bacon’s<\/a> street-legal BMW Z4 GT3 race car made its debut at SEMA 2023. The unique car was built by Gooichi Motors<\/a> in Loxahatchee, Florida with one of their Stage 3 Mercedes M120 V12<\/a> motors. It features their custom pistons, rods, camshafts, ported heads, five-stage dry sump, and exhaust headers. In front of the motor is a crank-driven Procharger F1x supercharger. Behind that is a Precision six-speed sequential transmission. The Z4 visited Kings Performance’s dyno<\/a> for a break-in tune by Smart EFI. Using only 60% throttle and no boost, the engine made 797 hp and 608 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. The goal is to make 1400-1500 hp.<\/p>\n
