Terry used a Ford Transit Mk1 body over a widened <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cooper_Monaco\">Cooper Monaco<\/a> tubular chassis. It featured a fully independent suspension with GT40 disc brakes and 15-inch wheels. In the middle of the van is a naturally aspirated 4.7 L Ford V8 from a GT40. It produced 400-435 hp (298-319 kW) and went through a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. The Ford powertrain propelled the van to 150 mph (240 km\/h) top speed. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineswapdepot.com\/?attachment_id=120329\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-120329\"><img In 1973 the van was sold to Ford apprentice Andy Browne. He enjoyed the van but eventually sold it in the late-70&#8217;s. Over the years it changed hands several times.
