V8 Speed & Resto Shop in Red Bud, Illinois started a new project called “Thunder’s Truck.” A customer approached the team to take a 1969 Ford F-100 truck and do a complete chassis and powertrain swap from a 2002 Ford Lighting truck. The more modern truck’s chassis, suspension, ABS brakes, supercharged 5.4 L V8 and transmission were going inside the classis Ford body. In this episode the team pulls everything apart to get media blasted and coated. Then everything was put back together including some small stuff needed to complete the project. <\/p>\n
