It is now powered by a 5.5 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mercedes-Benz_M273_engine\">M273 V8<\/a> from a 2010 Mercedes E550. The swap resulted in going from 268 hp (200 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) to 382 hp (285 kW) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. The SUV also received a six-speed manual transmission from a 2008 Mercedes C300 with a LUK clutch and flywheel. To help control that increased power the front brakes were upgraded to a W221 Brembo brakes. Other modifications include Mercedes CLA 17-inch wheels, 2013+ GLK instrument cluster, and W212 E-Class heated front seats.
