Mike Whiddett is prepping for Mad Mike’s Summer Bash<\/a> on Dec 7th at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park<\/a> in North Waikato, New Zealand. One of the cars that will be at the event is Mike’s custom Mazda 787D. In the front of the car is a five-rotor built by Pulse Performance Race Engineering<\/a> (PPRE). Mike put the wild creation on the dyno where the custom five-rotor made 648 hp at the wheels at 10,000 rpm on 98 octane fuel. If you want your own five-rotor it will cost you. To give you an idea of the motor’s price, PPRE sells their 4-rotor for $79,000<\/a> and a 6-rotor for $117,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n
