After doing their research on different power plants they ended up choosing to drop the factory C30A V6 for a K20A2 with a final goal of making 700 horsepower and 500 lbs\/ft torque. Another goal was to keep the weight of the car to 2,100 pounds. STMPO used their custom motor mounts to get the K20 in the right place. The axles were made by cutting K20 and NSX axles in half and then welding them together. By using this technique the engine sat lower thus adding to a lower center of gravity.
