Chip Foose Design is finishing their “Madam X” project for owners Wes and Vivian Rydell. The projects is based on a 1935 concept drawing for a 1937 Cadillac Sixty Special by Art Ross. Chip and company started with a 1939 Cadillac Sixty Special sedan and converted it to a two-door design with a removable hard top.<\/p>\n

Powering the custom will be a 6.2 L LT1 V8 backed with a 8L90E eight-speed automatic transmission from a Cadillac Escalade. Finishing out the drivetrain is a rear end from a Camaro ZL1. The car will ride on from and rear independent suspensions from a C6 Corvette. <\/p>\n
