Earlier this year Vidar attended <a href=\"https:\/\/gatebil.no\/gatebil-extreme-race\/\">Gatebil Extreme Race<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mantorp_Park\">Mantorp Park<\/a> in Mantorp, Sweden. While competing the motor suffered a catastrophic failure and put a hole in the block. Vidar rebuilt the motor and made even more power. The 2JZ now produces 1554 hp (1142 kW) and 1761 Nm (1298 lb-ft) of torque on 3.962 bar (57.4 psi) of boost. The motor is backed by a Sellholm MPG sequential transmission and E34 M5 rear end.
