Joris has also been building a 1993 Mazda MX-5 (NA) on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@yatajoris\/videos\">YataJoris channel<\/a>. The roadster was previously powered by a turbocharged 1.6 L inline-four. However Joris is swapping that for a turbocharged 2.4 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Volvo_Modular_engine#B5244T3\">Volvo B5244T3<\/a> inline-five pulled from a Volvo S60. Joris rebuilt the inline-five and added a Pulsar 2860 turbocharger, custom oil pump, and a set of custom mounts. Behind the motor is a ZF GS6-53DZ six-speed manual transmission with a Volvo bellhousing front welded to the front. Between the two is a Volvo flywheel, BMW X3 clutch disc, and Volvo pressure plate.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"
