A customer approached Hummelink-Modifications to perform an engine swap on their Mazda MX-5 NB. The company replaced the 1.8 L BP inline-four with a 3.0 L Jaguar AJ30 V6<\/a> using a Rocketeer swap kit<\/a>. The kit includes steel front subframe, engine mounts, stainless steel exhaust manifolds, full exhaust, and adapter plate to use the factory MX-5 transmission. Hummelink-Modifications added more parts including a SPS Motorsport oil cooler, IL Motorsport aluminum radiator, electric water pump, and NBFL Sportive front and rear brakes. Wiefferink Motorsport<\/a> tuned the 3.0 L V6 into making 272 hp (200 kW) and 306 Nm (225 lb-ft) of torque. <\/p>\n
