This owner wanted to swap a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.team.net\/TR8\/Conversions\/SHO.html\">SHO into their Triumph TR7<\/a> but found a lot of problems. The owner first started this swap about a year after the SHO engine was first released. The biggest issue was switching from a transverse to longitudinal layout. As if the engine swap wasn&#8217;t hard enough, he also installed a turbocharger. The owner spent approximately $12,000 on the modifications and a 13.7 sec quarter mile.
