The car eventually was sold to Jared Ferrell at <a href=\"https:\/\/lmr.com\/\">Late Model Restoration<\/a> (LMR). Under the hood sits a 5.0 L &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ford_Modular_engine#Boss_302_(Road_Runner)_variant\">Road Runner<\/a>&#8221; V8 featuring a forged crank, sinter forged I-beam rods, and aluminum pistons. On top are factory ported heads with higher-lift exhaust camshafts and sodium filled exhaust valves. The V8 sends exhaust through longtube headers, high-flow X-pipe, factory over-axle pipes, and SVE axle-back exhaust. Behind the motor is a T56 six-speed manual transmission, one-piece aluminum driveshaft, and 3.73 ratio rear end. On the LMR dyno, the motor made 442 hp at 7600 rpm and 380 lb-ft at 5300 rpm on 93 octane fuel and Lund Racing tune.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"
