Errol Brittain continues to make his Subaru Brumby<\/a> (Brat) faster. Last year the ute received a new turbocharged Subaru EJ25 flat-four built by Diversion Garage<\/a>. The motor features a Crest CNC<\/a> Gen 2 billet block with Wiseco Wiseco forged pistons and aluminum rods, Crest CNC ported heads, Kelford camshafts, and upgraded valve springs. On the dyno the new motor made 1349 hp (1006 kW) on methanol. Behind the motor is a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end.<\/p>\n
