The team swapped a turbocharged Zetec 16v inline-four into a Ford Sierra. The motor features a Holset turbocharger, custom exhaust manifold, modified rear sump oil pan, and custom mounts. Unfortunately the engine lost oil pressure and required installing another Zetec motor. Skogen Racing estimates the motor is producing 300 hp (220 kW) to the wheels on 1.2 bar (17.4 psi) of boost. They paired the motor to a Ford Type 9 five-speed manual transmission.
