Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) spent over 3,000 hours building this orange 1957 Corvette. In the engine bay is a supercharged 6.0 L LS2 V8 capable of 565 hp (415 kW) on 5 psi (0.3 bar) of boost. LPE built the motor with forged internals, ported heads, GT11 camshaft, Magnuson MP122 supercharger, and custom stainless steel headers. Backing the V8 is a Centerforce twin-disc clutch and G-Force T56 six-speed manual transmission. The rear wheels are turned by a C4 Corvette Dana 44 rear end with an Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential and 3.54 ratio. The Corvette rides on a modified X-frame chassis with Newman Car Creations suspension featuring C4 Corvette steering rack and disc brakes. GTS Customs<\/a> is responsible for covering the widened fiberglass body in PPG Organic Orange and Wimbledon White paint. <\/p>\n
