The project started by removing the factory 3.4 L flat-six from a 2016 Cayman GTS. In its place BGB Motorsport swapped a twin-turbo 3.8 L flat-six from a 991.2 Turbo S. They added 718 GT4 Clubsport exhaust manifolds and custom water-to-air intercooler system by JT Oliver. The combo is good for 573 hp (421 kW) and 562 lb-ft (761 Nm) of torque. Behind the motor is a seven-speed PDK transaxle. BGB Motorsports upgraded the handling using GT4RS Clubsport&#8217;s race car suspension with GT4 shocks and GT4RS Clubsport brakes.
