Austin Edwards and his Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat built on his channel Scrap Life Garage<\/a> visited the FuelTech USA<\/a> dyno for some tuning. Austin’s Hellcat is no longer powered by a supercharged V8. Instead it has a turbocharged 3.0 L 2JZ inline-six built by Brian Roche<\/a>. The motor features a factory crank, BC rods, Diamond pistons, Real Street billet main caps, ported head, GSE camshafts, 1300 cc injectors, and Garrett G42-1200 turbocharger. On the FuelTech hub dyno, the motor made 1049 hp (782 kW). Backing the 2JZ is a Grannis Racing bellhousing<\/a> bolt to a Magnum XL six-speed manual transmission. A custom aluminum driveshaft sends power to a Challenger Scat Pack differential with a 3.90 ratio. Watch the dyno run in the video below. <\/p>\n
