Austin&#8217;s Hellcat is no longer powered by a supercharged V8. Instead it has a turbocharged 3.0 L 2JZ inline-six built by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BrianRocheRacingEngines\/\">Brian Roche<\/a>. The motor features a factory crank, BC rods, Diamond pistons, Real Street billet main caps, ported head, GSE camshafts, 1300 cc injectors, and Garrett G42-1200 turbocharger. On the FuelTech hub dyno, the motor made 1049 hp (782 kW). Backing the 2JZ is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grannasracing.com\/shop\/category\/gearbox-bellhousings-31\">Grannis Racing bellhousing<\/a> bolt to a Magnum XL six-speed manual transmission. A custom aluminum driveshaft sends power to a Challenger Scat Pack differential with a 3.90 ratio.
