In the engine bay they swapped a turbocharged 998 cc <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Toyota_SZ_engine\">Toyota 1SZ-FE<\/a> inline-four. In our <a href=\"https:\/\/engineswapdepot.com\/?p=125687\">previous article<\/a> the motor produced 301 hp (221 kW) at 8831 rpm and 298 Nm (219 lb-ft) at 5883 rpm to the hubs on E85 fuel. In the offseason Antti rebuilt the 1SZ-FE for more power. It is now making 365 hp at 9809 rpm and 304 Nm at 7412 rpm to the hubs. Behind the motor is a Motor Design Sweden MD5 Ultralight five-speed sequential transmission and Volvo 760\/780 independent rear differential.
