When Roger was ready for the car&#8217;s next phase he turned to <a href=\"https:\/\/ironworksspeedandkustom.com\">Ironworks Speed &#038; Kustom<\/a> in California. The company modified the SS hood to accommodate the supercharged LS3 V8 built by Don Hardy capable. The motor&#8217;s 1200 hp (894 kW) is transmitted through a Bowler 4L80 four-speed automatic transmission to a 9-inch rear end. Underneath the car Ironworks installed a <a href=\"https:\/\/speedtechperformance.com\/product-category\/extreme-chevelle-64-67\/\">Speedtech ExtReme chassis<\/a> featuring custom control arms, JRI coilovers, and torque arm rear suspension. A set of Wilwood six-piston brakes hiding behind Forgeline GA3 wheels help keep the power under control.
