4N Motorsport<\/a> specializes in performance BMW parts showcased by their 2015 BMW M4<\/a> (F82) race car. In the engine bay is a turbocharged S55 inline-six 4N Motorsport destroked from 3.0 liters to 2.4 liters. This allows for a 11,000 rpm redline. They built the motor using a custom steel crank, Mahle pistons, CP Carillo H-beam rods, and single EFR8474 twin-scroll 1.05AR turbocharger. On top is a 4N Motorsport ported head with Supertech nitride-coated intake valves and Supertech Inconel sodium filled exhaust valves. The motor produces 700 hp (514 kW) and 550 lb-ft (677 Nm) of torque to the wheels at 10,000 rpm and the lowest boost level. Behind the motor is a Clutchmasters FX725 twin-disc clutch, billet aluminum flywheel, and Samsonas six-speed sequential transmission with custom close-ratio gearset. A custom carbon fiber driveshaft sends power to a Drexler Motorsport limited-slip differential.<\/p>\n
