In the 1970&#8217;s he raced a 1969 Camaro convertible in the NHRA Super Stock. Unfortunately it was sold but in 1998 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compcams.com\/about-us\">Comp Cams<\/a> purchased another 1969 Camaro RS convertible and rebuilt it as a tribute to the Super Stock Camaro. Then in 2016 Comp Cams trusted <a href=\"https:\/\/v8speedshop.com\">V8 Speed &#038; Resto<\/a> to refresh their Camaro celebrating the 40th anniversary of Comp Cams.<\/p>\n<p><a V8 Speed &#038; Resto installed a 454 ci (7.4L) LSx V8 built by <a href=\"https:\/\/butlerperformance.com\/\">Butler Performance<\/a>. The motor features a RHS aluminum block with Lunati rotating assembly. On top are RHS heads with Comp Cam valvetrain and LSXR intake manifold with a 102 mm throttle body. The motor produced 690 hp (514 kW) and 619 lb-ft (839 Nm) of torque.
