What sets James&#8217; Eclipse apart from the others is the powertrain layout. In the back of the car is a custom tubular cradle holding a naturally aspirated 3.8 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mitsubishi_6G7_engine\">6G75<\/a> V6 making 329 hp (245 kW) and 288 lb-ft (390 Nm) of torque. The motor features ported intake, custom fuel rails, 1000 cc injectors, RRE headers, and custom exhaust. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a FX400 clutch and Clutchmasters steel flywheel to a six-speed manual transmission. The car rides on Koenig Heliogram 18&#215;9.5-inch wheels with R888R 265\/35 tires. Behind those are four-piston calipers with 350&#215;32 mm rotors in front and four-piston rear calipers with 320&#215;32 mm rotors in back.
