Unfortunately the factory 2.0 L FA20 flat-four lost oil pressure while driving down a hill at high rpm. Instead of rebuilding the motor, Brett seized the opportunity to swap a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Toyota_UZ_engine#3UZ-FE\">3UZ-FE<\/a> from a Lexus SC430 using parts from their <a href=\"https:\/\/collinsperformancetechnologies.com\/collections\/scion-frs\/products\/1uz-fe-3uz-fe-to-frs-brz-ft86-full-swap-kit\">1UZ\/3UZ swap kit<\/a>. Brett chose the 3UZ V8 because they are dependable, $1K-$4K with ECU and harness, SC430 3UZ comes with a front sump oil pan, and the factory FRS hood will close.
