Heath Moore from Harrop Engineering<\/a> interviewed Frank Marchese at Dandy Engines<\/a> about an engine they were dyno tuning. Frank explains they are tuning the supercharged 565 ci (9.2L) Chevy V8 used in a Holden Premier built by Automotive Creations<\/a>. Frank started the tuning with a standard TVS2650 supercharger, 110 mm throttle, 80 mm supercharger pulley, 245 mm crank pulley, and E85 fuel. The motor produced 1158 hp (851 kW) and 950 lb-ft (1288 Nm) on 12.5 psi (0.86 bar) of boost. Frank then swapped to a ported TVS2650 supercharger and made 1178 hp (866 kW) and 950 lb-ft (1288 Nm) on 13 psi (0.89 bar) of boost. Next Frank swapped to a 120 mm throttle body and made 1212 hp (891 kW) and 953 lb-ft (1292 Nm) of 14 psi (0.96 bar) of boost. For the final test Frank swapped to a 70 mm supercharger pulley and made 1333 hp (980 kW) and 1051 lb-ft (1424 Nm) of torque.<\/p>\n
