Brian Wilkerson’s<\/a> BMW E36 M3 called “MA36RS” has seen changes since it went ice drifting<\/a> last winter. The most obvious change is the new paint. Another area that saw a lot of work was the engine bay. Brian had swapped a turbocharged 2.3 L EcoBoost inline-four using a JEM Sport swap kit<\/a>. Unfortunately that motor melted down from clogged injectors. Brian then purchased another 2.3 L EcoBoost short block and rebuilt the motor. It features EMS head studs, upgraded oil pump, Ford Ranger oil pan, Radium PCV baffle plate, Comp turbocharger, and runs on a Link Voodoo Pro ECU. Back on the dyno the motor made 307 hp (228 kW) and 355 lb-ft (481 Nm) of torque to the wheels on 23 psi of boost. <\/p>\n
