The 120 hp (88 kW) motor runs on a 40 kwh battery pack split 50\/50 between front and back. ECC estimates the pack affords the car 140 mile range. Behind the motor is a five-speed manual transmission and BMW rear differential. ECC also upgraded the suspension and brakes. On the outside they modified the bumpers, modified the E21 Aplina chin spoiler, and painted everything in VW Oak Green.
