The factory motor made a healthy 420 hp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm). The owner wanted more so it went to <a href=\"https:\/\/sdparts.com\/\">Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center<\/a> for their supercharged L8T crate motor. The new power plant uses a cast-iron block, factory L8T crankshaft, Callies forged rods, Wiseco pistons, SDPC camshaft (218\u00b0\/228\u00b0, .528&#8243;\/.528&#8243;), SDPC VVT delete kit, Magnuson 2650 supercharger. It features 10.8:1 compression ratio and DSX flex fuel system. After the swap the truck visited <a href=\"https:\/\/lonestarhorsepower.com\">Lonestar Horsepower<\/a> for tuning. The motor made 688 hp (506 kW) and 708 lb-ft (959 Nm) on an E50 blend fuel and 10 psi of boost.
