This 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was built for standing-mile racing. The owner removed the factory supercharged 6.2 L Hemi V8 capable of 840 hp (617 kW) and 770 lb-ft (1043 Nm) of torque (100+ octane fuel). In its place they installed a 426 ci (6.9L) Hemi V8 built by DSR Performance<\/a> topped by a Whipple 3.0 L supercharger. The combo produces 1058 hp (778 kW) and 793 lb-ft (1075 Nm) of torque. They also removed the factory 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission, driveshaft, and differential. The Challenger now runs a eight-speed automatic built by RPM Transmission, aluminum driveshaft, and billet differential. The suspension features active damping suspension with Brembo calipers covered by Billet Specialties Win Lite wheels. On the inside they replaced the factory driver-side seat with a Recaro seat and added White harnesses surrounded by a roll bar. The Challenger is found for sale on Bring a Trailer<\/a> with he factory powertrain and interior parts.<\/p>\n
