In the back of the car is a turbocharged 2.5 L <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Toyota_AR_engine#2AR-FE\">2AR-FE<\/a> inline-four sitting on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huxracing.com\/online-store\/SW20-AW11-mount-kits-3sgte-2gr-5sfe-3sge-2ar-2zr-4a-Tesla-c31486549\">Hux Racing mounts<\/a>. The motor features factory internals, IDX1300 injectors, Xona Rotor 6157 turbocharger, custom water-to-air intercooler, and custom titanium exhaust. The combo makes 420 hp (308 kW) to the wheels on 19 psi (1.3 bar) of boost. Nick paired the motor to a new Toyota E153 five-speed transmission with a limited-slip differential via a Clutchmasters twin-disc clutch. The MR2 rides on Hux Racing subframe and control arms with 808 Spec coilovers.
