HPA Motorsports<\/a> celebrated the company’s 35th Anniversary with a very special creation; the world’s first VR550T<\/a> Alltrack. The project started with a 2019 VW Golf Alltrack. HPA Motorsports swapped a turbocharged 2.5 L DDKA VR6 typically found in a VW Teramont (Atlas)<\/a>. The motor features HPA Motorsports’ camshafts, custom head, upgraded valvetrain, HPA Motorsports’ intake, HGP hybrid turbocharger, and upgraded fuel system. It produces 537 hp (394 kW) and 517 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque on 94 octane fuel. Power is sent to all four wheels through a DQ381 seven-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion AWD drivetrain. HPA Motorsports spent a year fixing issues and achieving no error codes. The VW wagon retains the factory ABS system.<\/p>\n
