Unfortunately the harmonic balancer broke off the factory FA24 flat-four motor and caused damage to the crankshaft and bearings. The owner sent the car to <a href=\"https:\/\/ma-motorsports.com\">MA-Motorsports<\/a> for an engine swap. In the engine bay they installed a 2.4 L Honda K24A2 inline-four using a <a href=\"https:\/\/kpower.industries\">KPower Industries swap kit<\/a>. The motor features factory internals, Skunk2 camshafts, and KPower&#8217;s oil pan, intake manifold, and exhaust header. It produces 240 hp (176 kW) to the wheels on a Link G4X XtremeX ECU. The KPower adapter plate allows the engine to mount to the factory GR86 six-speed manual transmission. A KPower driveshaft sends power to the GR86 rear end. The car&#8217;s suspension uses aftermarket coilovers, and AP Racing calipers in front and Brembo calipers in back. The stripped interior features an OMP seat, Momo steering wheel, Link\/AIM digital display, and custom aluminum dashboard.
