While there Sabin set a new personal best quarter-mile of 8.1 sec at 282 km\/h. The Audi TT is powered by a turbocharged 3.0 L VR6 with a large turbocharger. Last year the motor made 1100 hp (809 kW) but now makes 1300 hp (956 kW).
