The classic F-body is powered by a 7.0 L LS7 V8 producing 443 hp (330 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque to the wheels. The motor features Mahle pistons, Clevite bearings, Kooks exhaust headers, and converted from dry sump to a wet sump oiling system. Behind that is a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end. To improve handling Petty&#8217;s Garage installed Ridetech tubular front control arms, Strong Arm sway bars, and rear coilovers. They swapped the factory brakes for Wilwood six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes. Those are covered by Forgeline GE3R wheels (18&#215;8, 19&#215;12) and Yokohama Advan tires (245\/40, 325\/30). On the outside Petty&#8217;s Garage shaved the marker lights and drip rails. The body is covered in a BASF R-M MAHLE custom blue paint completed with flush mounted glass. The Camaro crossed the block at <a href=\"https:\/\/carsandbids.com\/auctions\/35yb5mZE\/1968-chevrolet-camaro\">Cars&#038;Bids<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bringatrailer.com\/listing\/1968-chevrolet-camaro-361\/\">Bring a Trailer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineswapdepot.com\/?attachment_id=148283\" rel=\"attachment
