The team tested those improvements at Motorsport Ranch (MSR) in Cresson, Texas. The good news is the improvement did help improve lap times. Unfortunately the increased g-forces caused a drop in oil pressure and a spun rod bearing. Thankfully J37 V6 motors are plentiful and Vorshlag already has a replacement. The drivetrain is still doing well which consists of a custom adapter plate, Aisin AZ6 six-speed manual transmission from a 2009-2011 Mazda RX-8, custom driveshaft, and factory rear end.
