The E30 coupe is powered by a compound turbocharged M50 inline-six. This means the engine uses two differently sized turbochargers connected in series. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@m5phenomenon\">M5Phenomenon<\/a> states the motor produces 1,100 hp (809 kW). Raul backed the motor with a built 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission. A 4WD drivetrain turns all four Hoosier slicks.
