In 1994 Olivier Frey<\/a> purchased a Nissan Sunny (Pulsar) GTI-R<\/a> for slalom (autocross) racing. Since then the car has come a long way<\/a>. The car wears a custom widebody and aero with a black & green livery. Under the hood sits a turbocharged Nissan RB26DETT inline-six from a Nissan R32 GTR. It features a Precision 6466 turbocharger, Kelfrod 182-E camshafts, Supertech valvetrain, and Haltech Elite 2500 ECU. The combination produces 650+ hp (478+ kW) and 750+ Nm (553+ lb-ft) of torque. Olivier transmits that power to four wide tires using an OS Giken OS-88 six-speed sequential transmission and Nissan Skyline AWD drivetrain. It’s been six years since we watched<\/a> Olivier compete in the Sunny.
