Bailey Woods<\/a> and his BMW E36 M3 visited Ridge Motorsports Park<\/a> for the Global Time Attack’s Speed Summit event. While there Bailey was the fastest overall with a lap of 1:35.812. Bailey’s amazing E36 is built by Riley Stair at RS Motorsports<\/a> with a composite clamshell front and extreme aero. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L B48 inline-four swapped by Strom Motorsports<\/a>. The motor produces 550 hp (404 kW) to the wheels thanks to a Garrett G25-700 turbocharger and E70 fuel. The drivetrain uses a GS6-37D manual transmission from an Euro E46 diesel and E36 rear end with a RacingDiffs limited-slip differential and 3.73 ratio. The lightweight coupe (2300 lb) rides on Motion Control 3-way adjustable coilovers and Apex VS-5RS 18×11-inch wheels with Hoosier Track Attack Pro 315\/30 tires.
