This 1974 Jeep Cherokee S is powered by 5.7 L Hemi V8 from a 2013 Dodge Ram. Behind the modern V8 is a 545RFE five-speed automatic transmission and NP231DHD transfer case with a 6-pinion planetary gearset. Power is sent forward to a Dana 44 axle with a Detroit locker. Power is sent rearward to an AMC 20 axle with disconnected ARB air locker and Dutchman axles. The Cherokee rides on a WFO Concepts front crossmember, Atlas Suspension leaf springs with reverse shackles, and Bilstein 5100-series shocks. Braking is handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Those are covered by Ansen Spirit 17-inch wheels with Falken Wildpeak 275\/70 tires.
