Bailey Woods<\/a> and his BMW E36 M3 attended Global Time Attack’s GridLife Laguna Festival at Laguna Seca Raceway<\/a>. Bailey set a 1:26.031 lap and took home a TrackMod class record, 1st in Podium Spring, and 2nd fastest overall. Bailey achieved this partly due to the amazing E36 M3 built by built by Riley Stair at RS Motorsports<\/a>. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L B48 inline-four swapped by Strom Motorsports<\/a>. The motor produces 550 hp (404 kW) to the wheels thanks to a Garrett G25-700 turbocharger and E70 fuel. Behind it is a GS6-37D manual transmission from an Euro E46 diesel. The last piece of the powertrain is an E36 rear end with a RacingDiffs limited-slip differential and 3.73 ratio. The 2300 lb coupe rides on Motion Control 3-way adjustable coilovers and Apex VS-5RS 18×11-inch wheels with Hoosier Track Attack Pro 315\/30 tires.<\/p>\n
