Wayne Lee acquired the Hammerhead Nissan S13 four years ago. Since then GT Auto Garage<\/a> has been improving the Tanuki Racing<\/a> Nissan S13 for World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC). The team switched from a turbo SR20 inline-four to a twin-turbo 4.1 L VR38DETT V6. The motor features a HKS stroker kit, two Garrett G30-990 62 mm turbochargers, and a dry sump system. The combo is good for 1,300+ hp (956+ kW) and 1,300 Nm (958 lb-ft) of torque. Behind the twin-turbo V6 is a Hollinger sequential transmission with an air shifter and Nissan R200 rear differential. The car rides on a tubular chassis with carbon fiber body and custom aero kit from Andrew Brilliant at AMB Aero<\/a>. The team’s hard work has paid off with back-to-back WTAC championships in 2025 and 2026 with Todd Hazelwood behind the wheel.<\/p>\n
