The car is powered by a turbocharged Audi 1.8 L inline-four producing 450 hp (330 kW) and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm) of torque. It features Integrated Engineering forged rods and camshafts, AEB cylinder head, dual valve springs, and titanium retainers. Charge air is generated by a BorgWarner EFR 6758 turbocharger and cooled by a Mishimoto air-to-air intercooler. Motor Werks Racing paired the motor to a Porsche 987 five-speed manual transaxle with custom axles. The 994&#8217;s suspension benefits from MWR two-piece adjustable control arms, Moton remote-reservoir adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood four-piston brakes. On the outside MWR installed removable composite quarter panel flares with a  Rothmans-style livery and GTR\/P-style rear spoiler.
