The engine came from a 2500 HD 4&#215;4. The transmission is a 4L60E from a 2005 van. The rear is a Dana 70 with 4:10 gears. The original model came with a 236 cubic inch inline-six motor rated at 91 horsepower and could only reach 45 mph.
